The Cream City Foundation has several partnership to help it further its mission. This includes a constant participation and collaboration among local and national funders, including National Funders for Lesbian and Gay Issues and Community Shares of Greater Milwaukee.

QShare: An initiative to improve corporate and business culture for LGBT employees and business owners. It is tied with an goal to increase business philanthropic engagement to LGBT issues.

Gay Neighbor Billboard Campaign: A visibility campaign aimed at increasing positive visibility of LGBT families in the Milwaukee and Waukesha area.
LGBT Youth Homelessness Initiative: A convening of key youth providers to discuss and identify new approaches to fund and impact LGBT youth homelessness.
The Milwaukee LGBT Funding Partnership: A partnership between Cream City Foundation, Greater Milwaukee Foundation, and the National Lesbian and Gay Community Funding Partnership. Led to the creation of the Cream City LGBT Funding Partnership within the Greater Milwaukee Foundation.
Greater Milwaukee Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Visioning Project: A community led project aimed for a unified collaboration among lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities. Led to the creation of a community breakfast and increased dialogue among key LGBT organizations.
